Grupo de Processamento de Energia e Controle The “Grupo de Processamento de Energia e Controle (GPEC)”, created in 1995, is linked to the Department of Eletrical Engineering (DEE) and aims to conduct research and technological development in power eletronics. GPEC works on proposing technological solutions for the industrial and service sectors, therefore collaborates with national industry, electric power companies, and research institutes in Brazil and abroad. |

Grupo de Pesquisa em Automação, Controle e Robótica
The research conducted within the GPAR laboratory is primarily focused on addressing regional demands, with the aim of enhancing integration into the local industrial park. However, other lines of research that explore the frontier of knowledge (state-of-the-art) in this field are also pursued.

Laboratório de Aplicações de Eletrônica de Potência & Integração a Sistemas de Energia O Grupo de Processamento de Energia e Controle (GPEC), criado em 1995, é ligado ao Departamento de Engenharia Elétrica (DEE) da UFC e tem como objetivo a pesquisa e o desenvolvimento tecnológico em eletrônica de potência. O GPEC atua na proposição de soluções tecnológicas para os setores industriais e de serviço, portanto trabalha em parceria com a indústria nacional, empresas de energia elétrica e institutos de pesquisa no Brasil e no exterior. |

The “Núcleo de Estudos em Automação Industrial e Controle Não-Linear – NEACON” of the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Federal University of Ceará has expertise in simulations and testing of industrial loads. The behavior is analyzed by applying automation and control techniques, aiming to optimize the system’s operational performance or its energy efficiency.
